riddim [ri’-dim] noun/slang: Jamaican slang term for “rhythm.” A riddim is a professionally produced, instrumental musical composition that may be used and reused by adding unique vocal tracks. Adding vocals to a riddim in this way turns a riddim into a new song.
Reggae and Dancehall are all we do. We build riddims, mix, and master. While riddimBank has been online since 2002, we have been working with and producing world-renowned Reggae artists since 1985.
Some artists we have worked with include: Everton Blender, Jack Radics, Nadine Sutherland, Edi Fitzroy, Stevie Culture, Junior Ried, Mykal Rose, Ritchie Stephens, Lutan Fiyah, Rash Shiloh, Maka Roots, and many, many more.
Mixing Reggae and Dancehall with a real Jamaican feel can't be done in many places outside of Jamaica. It just can't. We relocated our studio to Jamaica for a period during the 1990s and learned from some of the best. We mix it properly.
Mastering Reggae and Dancehall is different than traditional mastering. It's not about setting a balance. It's about vibes. It's about getting a party moving. We know this intimately, and can get you what you need.
Choose one of our pre-mixed riddims, or we build Reggae or Dancehall riddims to your specifications. Listen to samples by visiting our Music page or by clicking on the button below. We'll get you what you need.
