Terms of Service

The agreement

These terms are between you and riddimBank, a sole proprietorship operating from Solana Beach, California. Using riddimbank.com means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

Who can subscribe

You must be at least 18 years old, able to enter a contract, and using a payment method you are entitled to use.

Your account

Your account is yours alone. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Download links are for you. Posting them publicly, or passing redeemed files to other people, is the one thing that will get an account suspended — see acceptable use.

Subscriptions, credits and billing

Subscriptions renew automatically — monthly or annually, depending on the plan you chose — until you cancel. We charge the payment method on file on each renewal date.

Credits arrive with each billing period and are spent on the packages inside a sample bank. Each package has its own credit price, so what a given number of credits buys depends on what you choose.

Credits never expire. Unused credits roll over for as long as you have an account, including after you cancel.

Cancelling can be done at any time from your Manage Subscription page, with no penalty and no phone call. You keep your unused credits and everything you have already redeemed. You simply stop receiving new credits.

Prices can change. If they do, we will tell you before it affects a renewal, and you can cancel rather than accept it.

Refunds

Your credits never expire, so nothing you buy here is ever wasted. That is why we do not offer refunds: unlike most subscriptions, cancelling does not take anything away from you. Your unused credits stay in your account, and everything you have already redeemed is yours permanently, whether or not you ever pay us again.

So payments — subscription charges and credit purchases alike — are final. What you paid for remains available to you.

If you were charged in error, charged twice, or something went wrong that is on us, that is not a refund question and we will fix it. Use the contact form and pick Subscription, billing & credits.

Nothing here removes rights you have under the law where you live.

What you may do with the music

Your subscription gives you credits. Spending them gives you a licence to use the sounds — and the terms of that licence are set out in full on the License Agreement page, which forms part of this agreement.

In short: you may use the sounds in your own recordings, you must credit the original composers, and you may not resell them or build a competing sample product out of them. Read the licence for what actually governs.

Acceptable use

Please do not: share your account or download links; redistribute, resell or re-upload the sounds anywhere; try to get at parts of the service you have not paid for; scrape or bulk-download the library; or use riddimBank to break the law.

We may suspend or close an account that does these things. Where we can, we will warn you first.

Contributors and referrers

If you contribute music or refer subscribers, additional terms apply and are set out when you apply — see Become a Contributor and Become a Referrer. Contributors keep ownership of what they make and licence it to us to sell; we do not take your copyright.

Copyright claims

We license everything we sell from the musicians and composers who made it. If you believe something on riddimBank infringes your copyright, write to legal@riddimbank.com and include: what work you own, where on the site it appears, how to reach you, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

We take these seriously and act on them quickly.

Things we do not promise

We work hard to keep riddimBank running and the files intact, but we cannot promise the site will never be down or that every file will suit every project. The service is provided as it is.

Keep your own copies of anything you download. Download links expire and are regenerated a limited number of times; the sounds are yours, but your archive is your responsibility.

Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose.

Ending things

You can cancel whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or stop offering the service — and if we ever stop, we will give you notice and a window to download what you have redeemed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute belongs in the courts serving Solana Beach, California.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use riddimBank after that means the new version applies.
