Built for Your Song

Commission an original riddim built for your project. Tell us what you want and we'll build it: Reggae with live drums (One Drop, Rockers or Steppers), or Dancehall with programmed drums.

Seven Instruments

Drums, bass, percussion, bubble, piano skank, guitar skank and keyboard overdubs, played live and delivered as 24-bit multitracks. Add pick guitar, horns, solos or riffs.

Exclusive or Shared

Exclusive ($700): the riddim is only yours. Shared ($500): riddimBank may also add the instrumental to its catalogue later. Your vocals and your song always stay yours.

Built Around Your Voice

Sing your song to a click and we build the riddim in your key, at your tempo. You pick the drums first, then we play the rest live to them; about four weeks. If none of our drum tracks fits, a new drummer is an extra fee, quoted first.

Order a custom riddim

An original Reggae or Dancehall riddim built for your song, delivered as 24-bit / 48 kHz multitracks. $700 Exclusive or $500 Shared; half before we start.

How it works

  1. Tell us what we are building below: your song sung to a click, or the song you want remade, and a few reference tracks. The more you send, the closer the first version gets.
  2. Within 2 business days we send an invoice. Half is due before we start.
  3. Drums first. We send you a drum track from our library to hear on your private page. Like it, and we lock it in and play every other instrument live to it. Not quite right? Tell us why and we pick another, as many times as you need. If nothing in our library fits, we can hire a drummer to play a new one: that is an extra fee, and we quote it first.
  4. You hear the full riddim (about 4 weeks from payment), comment on any part, then approve it.
  5. Pay the balance and download your files: the rough mix, the multitracks (dry) and a riddim sheet (tempo, key, chords, arrangement).

Who can use the riddim?

Your music stays private

Your files upload straight to riddimBank's private storage, and only we can open them. When the job is finished we delete the online copies and keep an archive copy on two of our own drives, which are not connected to the internet (ask us any time and we will delete it too). Either way, we email you a deletion receipt.
